Key ring notebooks...

I am sorry, I can't show you the other ones anymore. I sold them at my first market (and had no time to take pictures before. Finally sleep won the battle! ^^)

The sides are covered card boards. This one I made with a fabric I love... still have to try to make the edges a little bit better.

From the side...

And beetles on both sides... this one is covered with paper...

...and all the books got several layers of laquer!

PS: I'll try to take better pictures at daylight. But somehow I only have time for this late at night... :(

  1. They are so beautiful! I know I say that a lot here, but I am only stating the facts. Yay, you sold stuff!!!! That's exciting. And I was pretty sure that would happen.

  2. aber wie hast du denn jetzt den käfer auf das papier bekommen ? gemalt ?? grübel - kopfkratz

  3. Genius!

Would love for you to share at Calling All Crafters!

  4. You have the most wonderful projects. This one is exceptional as well!

  5. Oh your little key ring books are so pretty Claire. Congratulations on the market sales! Yahoo, glad to know someone is getting something sold! That's very inspiring to hear. One day I will join the likes of you...

  6. oh this will be great for my dd for back to school...

Don't forget to add it to our linking party this week

  7. I love this!!! I am always wanting to jot down my thoughts, but never have any paper!! Thanks for sharing!!

  8. Your little notebooks are so pretty! I like the beetles on the covers.

  9. These are great! They look really pretty and I love notebooks. Great idea!

  10. I don't know how you do it, but all your stuff is on the edge of weird (in a good sense!), which makes it not only beautiful, but also stand out. I'd prefer a beetle print over an owl print (just to mention the biggest recent trend) anytime, even though I love owls. Be different, act normal :D

  11. super cute! what paper did you use on the inside??

  12. Thank you all! xxx :)

@lisbonlioness: Some beetles are just like cute jewels! And I made some earrings out of them as well... I'll show them in the next days (someday summer and the sun will come back again...) as soon as I can make some good pictures :)

    ...on the edge of weird...

That also sounds great! You really should change your job to become a PR manager (and if there is a day I could afford one I would certainley hire you! :))

  13. Great idea! Thank you for linking to Sew Woodsy last week! We hope you will join us again tomorrow!
